The Clothes Closet

For those in need of clothing, we provide free items. We have clothing from ages birth to adults. Our closet is open on the 1st Saturday each month from 10am-12pm. Location: 343 S York Rd, Elmhurst; located on the southeast side of the building with external access door (Look for signage.)

To donate items, we have a  24 hour drop box on the east side of the building in the lower level stairwell. Please make sure your donations are free of rips and stains.

To volunteer or if you have a clothing need that needs to be met outside of our regular hours, contact Catherine Pavlik – 630-854-8006. Please provide your name, phone # and email address.

Caring Network Illinois

They are the first step for women facing an unplanned pregnancy. They welcome women with unconditional love, counsel, and resources that offer the light of truth – changing hearts and saving lives.

Cityview partners with Caring Network through regular monetary donations, participating in the Walk for Life events, coins for Caring Network, and accepting donations of diapers, wipes, etc.

CAP America (Christians Against Poverty)

CAP equips local churches to reach out to release Americans from debt and poverty while assisting them in the deepest spiritual and social needs of their neighbors. They deliver a professional credit counseling tool that’s proven to help some of the most vulnerable in society. Their combination of providing the ‘word’ and ‘deed’ sides of the Gospel makes them unique.

Elmhurst Walk-In Assistance Network

The people of our faith communities, service organizations, businesses and caring individuals unite in partnership to provide compassionate and effective assistance to people in need in our community. They serve Elmhurst residents, as well as families with children in Elmhurst schools, members of participating churches, and PADS guests with a written referral. They help other guests who do not qualify find other assistance.

Cityview partners with EWAN through regular monetary donations and by referring those who come to our door looking for financial and other assistance.

ICI (Inner City Impact)

ICI works with children and teens in urban neighborhoods where the challenges of daily life severely affect their ability to pursue healthy and happy childhoods. They develop programs where kids can feel safe, be engaged in wholesome activities, build healthy relationships, expand their self-worth, and develop the life skills they need to move confidently toward a better future.

Cityview partners with ICI through regular monetary donations and participation in their annual banquet. There are also opportunities to become mentors to these children and teens.

Love Christian Clearinghouse

Their mission is to mobilize the local church to transform lives and communities in the name of Christ. Love INC represents Christian churches working together to address the needs of the community through the Clearinghouse Call-In Center ministry and other outreach programs.

Cityview partners with Love Inc. through regular monetary donations and by referring those who come to our door looking for financial assistance.

New Name

A faith-based outreach to women in the adult industry. They run a call center to offer resources and a support system, and help transition women out of the adult industry to a safe house and then on to a long-term care or healing facility. They also help prevent sexual abuse and trafficking from occurring in our communities by educating teens and young adults about what to watch for and how to get help.

Cityview partners with New Name through weekly volunteer prayer teams and collecting groceries each month for their safe houses.

Safe Families for Children

Safe Families for Children is a movement fueled by compassion to keep children safe and families intact. Through Host Families, Family Friends, and Resource Friends, they temporarily host children and provide a network of support to families in crisis while they get back on their feet.
