Lakota Native American Outreach | Pine Ridge Indian Reservation
Hidden away in the southwest corner of South Dakota lies the second largest Native American Reservation in the U.S., Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, home of the Oglala Lakota Sioux Tribe. With no industry, technology or commercial infrastructure to provide employment for its residents, this Native American population lives in conditions equivalent to those found among the poorest, third world countries. LNAO brings Christ to the tribe through outreach, networking and the teaching of God’s Word. Their mission is to bring together the body of Christ in such a way that the gifts of God may shine on a community that is forsaken and oppressed.
Cityview partners with LNAO through our yearly baby supply drive, after which we assemble packets for moms and their newborn babies being released from the hospital.
Love Christian Clearinghouse
Their mission is to mobilize the local church to transform lives and communities in the name of Christ. Love INC represents Christian churches working together to address the needs of the community through the Clearinghouse Call-In Center ministry and other outreach programs.
Cityview partners with Love Inc. through regular monetary donations and by referring those who come to our door looking for financial assistance.
A faith-based outreach to women in the adult industry. They run a call center to offer resources and a support system, and help transition women out of the adult industry to a safe house and then on to a long-term care or healing facility. They also help prevent sexual abuse and trafficking from occurring in our communities by educating teens and young adults about what to watch for and how to get help.
Cityview partners with New Name through weekly volunteer prayer teams and collecting groceries each month for their safe houses.
